Butts Farm and Hounslow Heath Support Group

The Ethnic Minority Advocacy Group (EMAG) is an organisation that works to further the social and financial inclusion of ethnic minorities across the Borough of Richmond upon Thames. RHP and EMAG are working in partnership to make sure our customers feel part of their local community and have access to services that are relevant to them.

EMAG is an independent voluntary organisation working for equality and fairness for ethnic minority groups across the borough. They provide free support to anyone who faces racial disadvantage or harassment, and work in partnership with other organisations to eliminate unlawful discrimination.

They are also involved in creating local support groups, which offer activities tailored to a number of different cultural requirements, providing training to any volunteers that take part in running activities with them.
EMAG run a support group from our Hounslow Heath and Butts Farm estates. The group gives you the chance to meet new people and gain new experiences in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

The group will support you to:

· Increase your confidence
· Access advocacy services
· Get involved in the community
· Deal with issues concerning Social / Health services, education, leisure and housing
· Make applications for social security benefits
· Overcome language barriers experienced by you or your family
