More choice, more homes, better service
The Boards of RHP Group and Paragon Community Housing Group (PCHG) are in early discussions about forming a new housing partnership.
04/06/2010
This exciting opportunity would allow the new group to provide you with better customer service in many different ways, including: more homes, more choice, better services, better value for money, more opportunities to move and more ways of getting involved.
Why Paragon Community Housing Group?
RHP and PCHG have chosen each other as a potential partner because of our shared values, including a passion for delivering excellent customer service and our close operating proximity. Paragon Community Housing Group is a similar organisation to RHP and comprises of Elmbridge Housing Trust and Richmond upon Thames Churches Housing Trust. How would I benefit from a new partnership?
A partnership would allow us to combine our expertise to become more efficient and effective in providing excellent customer services and doing best the things that matter most to you. By pooling our resources we would also be able to offer better value and expand our role in building and supporting strong communities.
Will my landlord, rent or service charge be affected?
No, you would continue to be a tenant or leaseholder of RHP, and nothing would change in terms of your tenancy or lease. You would have exactly the same rights as you do now. Your rent would also be unaffected by the partnership.
What has happened so far?
Discussions are at an early stage. Together with Paragon Community Housing Group we have jointly appointed independent advisors Michael Guest Associates - Angela Wheeler and Michael Guest will be advising residents and answering questions.
Michael Guest Associates are also organising a residents' scrutiny panel where RHP and PCHG customers will examine the proposals and make sure we consult customers in the best possible way.
How can I get involved or find out more?
We really want our customers to be actively engaged in this proposal. We are keen to hear from both tenants and leaseholders. As planning of the new group develops we will be writing to all residents. There will be lots of opportunities to share your views. Visit our Resident Scrutiny Panel page, hosted independently by michael Guest associates: http://www.michaelguest.co.uk/rhp_home.php
