Who we are
The RHP Group is made up of two registered social landlords – parent association RHP, and Co-op Homes, which is a subsidiary.
RHP is a local housing company, regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), a member of the National Housing Federation and a charitable industrial and provident society. We were established in July 2000 following a stock transfer from Richmond Council and we own or manages 8,543 homes in Richmond and Hounslow and employ 225 people.
RHP is run by a Board of Management which ensures it is managed efficiently, effectively and in line with the requirements of the law, regulatory bodies, and best practice.
Co-op Homes joined the Group in December 2005. It is a secondary housing co-operative. It owns or manages 1,181 homes, mainly in west London. You can find out more about Co-op Homes by visiting www.coophomes.coop
Our purpose
Our purpose is to provide good quality, affordable homes for people in need, to deliver excellent customer service and to support the development of successful communities. We are a not-for-profit organisation.
How we measure our success
We are an ambitious company that aspires to be among the best performing registered social landlords in the country. We measure our success in 3 main ways:
- The level of customer satisfaction with our homes and services.
- The performance of our core activities compared with that of other housing providers.
- The level of employee satisfaction with working for RHP.
