ASB Awareness Week: making communities safer

Published: 18/11/2024

This week is ASB Awareness Week, and the theme is ‘making communities safer’. It’s important to know how to deal with antisocial behaviour, so here’s a quick reminder of how we can support you:

Reporting ASB

If you’re experiencing antisocial behaviour, you can contact us by calling 0800 032 2433 or filling out a web form. Keeping a record of what’s been happening makes a big difference, so we recommend using our diary sheets or the Noise App to help us build a clearer picture.

What Happens Next

Every case is different, so we’ll look at the details and decide the best way forward. In some cases, we may ask for a written statement to support legal action. Whatever the situation, we’ll be with you every step of the way because everyone deserves to feel safe in their home.

When It’s Criminal Behaviour

If you think the antisocial behaviour is a crime, it’s important to contact the police first:

  • Call 999 if it’s an emergency
  • Call 101 for anything non-urgent
  • You can also report non-urgent crimes online at www.met.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/ or anonymously at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

If it involves an RHP customer, their visitors, or their property, let us know after you’ve spoken to the police.

Reporting Noise Nuisance

You can also report noise nuisance directly to your local Environmental Health Team:
