Fly tipping is illegal

Published: 03/01/2021

Leaving items in the bin area, beside recycling bins or in communal areas is illegal, dangerous and can ruin the appearance of your outside space. And if you’re caught fly tipping, you could be fined up to £50,000 or even sent to prison.

If these items are collected by RHP these costs will be recharged to you and your neighbours through your rent and service charges.

Your council will collect furniture, mattresses, white goods and electrical items from your home for a small charge. You could also sell or donate unwanted items, or take them to your nearest recycling centre

You can help us put a stop to fly tipping in your area by sharing information with us, like the name, address or vehicle registration of the individuals that have fly tipped.
