Have you been interested in getting into support work in schools or looking to learn new skills for a new vocation? Do we have the course for you then!
We’re offering a free course which will see successful learners receive a Level 2 qualification and gain knowledge with supporting children and young people in a school setting.
What will I learn?
- Support health and safety in a learning environment.
- Understand how to safeguard children and young people.
- Develop professional relationships with children, young people and adults.
- Understand how children and young people develop.
- Support positive behaviour in children and young people.
- Support children and young people during learning activities.
When is it?
Starting June 2022 – 12 weeks, two days per week (days to be confirmed). 9.30am-2.30pm each day.
Where is it?
Hounslow Heath Community centre, Edgar Road TW4 5QP.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for this training you must:
- Must be aged over 19.
- Must have lived in the UK for over three years.
- Must be able to commit to the full course.
- Must be earning less then £17,300 annually.
