Could you be our next Tenant Board Member?
We have an exciting opportunity for a tenant to join our board and make a meaningful difference to the running of our business.
RHP is governed by a board which is largely made up of independent people, all with specific skills and experience. Two of these members are tenants of RHP – not customer representatives but independent non-executive Directors of the organisation.
We’re looking for an RHP tenant with the ability to oversee a customer-focused business who can support and scrutinize the work of RHP’s management and various teams, in particular about our business strategy, finance, performance and risk and about the management and development of the services we deliver to our customers.
The Board is made up of up to 12 people, and the role requires a commitment of around 12 – 15 hours per month, which includes preparing for and attending board and committee meetings.
Although experience of using the skills mentioned is necessary, support and training will be provided.
Remuneration of £5,500 per annum will be paid for the role.
We are particularly encouraging applications from disabled and or Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) tenants, as these groups are currently underrepresented at RHP.
Please note that this role is only open to tenants of RHP homes (renters of garages or other properties are not eligible).
