Customers move into transformational regeneration scheme

17th August 2018

We're thrilled to welcome the first customers at our new homes Fountains Close regeneration project, situated in Hounslow.

The regeneration, which consists of 99 new homes made up of a mix of flats and houses for affordable rent and shared ownership, has transformed Fountains Close. It has also dramatically improved the large green, used by all the community, with high-quality landscaping and improved links to the River Crane.

David Done, RHP’s Chief Executive says: “We’re really proud of this regeneration and the significant improvement it’s made to our customers’ homes and the surrounding area. It’s also allowed us to provide more opportunities for affordable home ownership in south-west London, with all shared ownership properties already sold. We wish everyone moving in lots of happiness in their new homes!”

We've worked in partnership with the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond to deliver the project and the Greater London Authority has been very supportive of the plans, investing £4.1m into the scheme.

As the selected delivery partner for the development, Bouygues UK has led on the construction work. Darren Gill, Managing Director, Housing London and South East at Bouygues UK says: “It’s immensely satisfying to have worked with RHP to provide much-needed new homes for Londoners through this high-quality project. With teams on site bringing a number of other projects to life across Hounslow, including the new civic building and further housing on Lampton Road, this is a key area for us and we’re thrilled to be part of both RHP’s and the council’s ambitious plans that aim to improve the quality of life for local people.”

These homes form part of our ambitious five-year strategy to build 1,000 new homes over the next five years.
