To get the best of our Repairs Live we’ve put together the following FAQs for you. Just to recap, Repairs Live is a system that allows you to see exactly where your repairs operative is, so you know when to expect them and you’ll even be able to send them a message. So, if you need to pop out for a pint of milk you’ll know when you can do this without worrying about missing your appointment!

Repairs Live is just one of our features of our online repairs service. There are plenty of benefits of using our online repairs service including being given a two-hour appointment booking spot as opposed to an all-day appointment if you book via phone.

How do I access Repairs Live?

Currently, when you book a repair you’ll also receive an appointment text message from us. Then 24 hours before your appointment time you’ll receive another text from us, as well as a text 30 minutes before your appointment, both of these texts will provide you with a weblink. Click on that weblink and then you’ll be able to view Repairs Live.

What exactly can I do on Repairs Live?

Currently within Repairs Live you can see exactly where your repairs operative is, so you know when to expect them and you’ll even be able to send them a message. Watch this space though for additional features to be launched in the near future!

It took longer for the operative to get here then stated, why was that?

There might be the rare occasion that this is the case. The reason for this would most likely be that the operative has clicked that they’re ‘on the way’ however, they’ve then realised they need additional equipment, so they’ve had make a stop at a suppliers on their way to you (e.g. for them to pick up additional parts).

How can I make sure my privacy rights are upheld?

The Repairs Live system falls within our strict privacy policy measures. Additionally, within the system the operative will only be able to see your name and not your phone number.
