RHP gains Investors in People Platinum
RHP Group has achieved Investors in People Platinum – the highest award in leadership, people management and culture. We’re delighted to be in an elite group with only 0.5% of organisations in the UK having attained this, including very few in the housing sector.
The IIP report states: “The organisation should be commended for its relentless support with employee engagement. This has created a trusting environment where people genuinely want to be successful in their development and make a positive difference to the customer experience. RHP thoroughly deserves to be acknowledged and recognised as an Investors in People Platinum organisation. This is a fantastic achievement and a genuine team effort led by inspirational leaders.”
We first received IIP accreditation in 2002 and have held the Gold standard since 2011. In January we went through a rigorous assessment to become reaccredited – our goal always being to achieve the new Platinum standard.
RHP’s Chief Executive David Done states: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised in this way. The Platinum accreditation is the culmination of three years hard work and reflects our drive to continuously improve our employee experience. We’re committed about providing an environment where people are encouraged to be themselves, feel trusted and empowered, are given meaningful opportunities and strive to deliver excellent service.”
At RHP we’re passionate about the link between highly engaged employees and better business results. In 2016, we launched the UK’s first digital only housing service RHPi, designed to reduce costs and improve service. The results so far have been encouraging with increased customer satisfaction and improved efficiencies, which will help us build 2,000 more affordable homes over the next six years.
