RHP’s Chief Executive named ‘most people focussed CEO’
Last night RHP’s Chief Executive David Done was named as the UK’s ‘most people focussed CEO’ at the prestigious HR Excellence Awards.
The leader of the south-west London based housing association beat off competition from the likes of McDonalds, Three, Softcat and Lush.
The news, announced at an awards ceremony in Westminster, reflects Done’s long-term commitment to put employees at the heart of the business, creating a unique and special culture where people are supported and motivated to deliver excellent service.
Done says: “I’m blown away! This award is for the whole of RHP – our people are our most potent asset in making a difference. I’m committed in ensuring I have the right people working with me who will help me cultivate and protect our culture and always remain curious and humble”.
The judges praised Done’s authenticity stating: “He comes over as someone who truly believes in what he says” adding “A positive ‘can do’ approach is king at RHP and is evidenced by its impressive results”.
In its 21st year, the HR Excellence Awards are the longest running Human Resources awards in the UK and are judged by a panel consisting of top HR directors and CEOs from a range of successful organisations. The shortlist showcases the talent and innovative work being carried out by the HR community.
This tops off a successful twelve months for RHP having been named as the best (medium size) organisation to work for at the Great place to work awards in April, winning the overall prize at the 2015 CIPD awards and being ranked number one in their sector for innovation.
