Useful resources for your young ones
We know that it can be a challenge keeping yourselves and your little ones entertained even at the best of times, let alone during this time where we have to spend the majority of our time indoors.
To support you with this we’ve produced a list of free resources which can help:
Achieving for Children
Achieving for Children has put together an online youth work schedule using Zoom organised by Ham Youth Centre. Lots of fun and exciting activities (ranging from photography to music production) for people aged 11 to 19 where they can make new friends and chat to youth workers.

Purple Mash is a website designed for children aged 3-11. It contains many creative tools ie: coding, animation, publishing, art and also applications for maths, spelling and grammar. Teachers can ‘set work’ for children easily then view / comment on completed files.

The Maths Factor
Carol Voderman has launched a new site called The Maths Factor to help children with their numerical skills online. The site is aiming to support children with their basic maths skills through a variety of educational online resources.
To access the educational content, users simply need to sign up via the website.
Bio-Rad Explorer's YouTube channel is a hub of educational and instructional videos for students and educators from Bio-Rad and the life science education community.
This site makes free language-learning courses so Indigenous people can teach, learn, and revive their languages.

A collection of history educator resources includes a wide range of flexible, multimedia materials, from primary sources and streaming videos to teaching strategies, lesson plans, and full units.

PE with Joe Wicks
Wicks has been helping families across the country to keep fit while they are at home with his daily video sessions called PE with Joe, which involves a 30 minute workout session that all ages can get involved with.
