Improving our repairs service

Our repairs service RHP Home is currently not performing to the standards we aspire to deliver. We’re sorry if you’ve had a repair that has taken longer than it should have to get sorted.

This is partly due to higher volumes of repairs coming through, along with supply chain issues the whole of the UK is experiencing, which are leading to a lack of materials and resources. We also recognise however, there are changes we can make internally to provide a more effective and efficient service.

Working with our repairs partner Kier Places, we’ve implemented a repairs improvement plan which includes:

  • Increasing our resources by recruiting new members of our RHP Home Team, including more operatives.
  • Improving our internal systems and processes to enable a more efficient service.
  • Bringing in support from external contractors. This means in some cases, your repair will be completed by someone outside of the RHP Home team.

We have been making progress in reducing our number of outstanding repairs, and are confident this will continue. Thank you for your patience as we continue to make improvements to the service.
