Summer safety tips
Published: 20/05/2026
Keeping your home and estate safe is our top priority, but we can’t do it alone. By working together, we can make sure your neighbourhood remains a great place to live.
As the weather warms up, more people are enjoying paddling pools, trampolines, and other large play and garden items. To keep everyone safe, please stay with children during these activities. At the end of the day, remember to take everything home with you, including larger items.
We also ask you to:
- Keep communal areas and escape routes completely clear of personal belongings.
- Dispose of cigarettes safely - don't flick them over balcony rails.
- Only use BBQs in private gardens: never in communal areas or on balconies.
- Read the fire action notices displayed in the communal areas.
