You spoke, we listened: updates from 'Meet the Board'

Thank you to everyone who came to our recent ‘Meet the Board’ event. It was incredibly helpful for our board and senior leaders to hear your honest feedback about our services. We listened to what you said, and are taking action. Here's what we're doing now:

• We'll show you how your feedback shapes our decisions. If we can’t take an idea forward, we'll explain why. Where we can, we’ll feed back to you directly, or we’ll reflect it in our quarterly ‘You spoke, we listened’ reports.

• We're creating more chances for you to work directly with our teams to help build our policies, through our Digital Neighbourhood and focus groups.

• We're strengthening our approach to managing our subcontractors' performance.

• We're setting up an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Customer Forum to help us improve how we handle these issues. We’ll let you know how to join and will keep you updated on our website, Facebook page, and in future editions of Beyond Bricks.

Looking ahead to 2027

Your feedback is also helping us build our next long-term strategy. Our key focus areas will be:

• Helping to build stronger, more supportive communities.

• Getting to know our customers better so we can provide more personal, tailored support.

• Being more visible and available for face-to-face chats.

• Giving you clearer information about local events and projects, how we decide to invest in your homes, and how you can influence decisions.

Finally, we heard you on the need for more notice: we promise to advertise future events further in advance. We look forward to working with you to make a real difference in our communities.
