Our flexible Life Matters benefits package has been designed around what our people value most, to give you choice around what you need to live well at work, rest and play. You’ll have access to all these benefits during your time with us.

Life Matters has six main elements outlined below.

1. Mind Matters

As part of our cash plan with Simplyhealth you have access to a free confidential helpline where you can talk to trained advisors.

Access to six structure counselling sessions with an experienced counsellor.

Mind Matters Champions are RHP Group employees who’ve been trained to recognise the signs of mental health problems in the workplace, guide you towards professional help and support you through difficult moments.

We invest in your professional and personal development through our comprehensive Learning & Development programme, sponsorship to gain professional qualifications and paying for professional fees, and our Climbing Frame career development programme.

2. Body Matters

Claim money back on the cost of everyday healthcare, like eye tests, trips to the dentist and physiotherapy.

We offer a £30 monthly so that you can claim back costs on activities or items that support your wellbeing. We recognise that wellbeing means different things to different people so you can personalise this benefit and gain value in a way that supports you. Ways in which this might be used are for a gym membership, home workout equipment or a subscription to a meditation app.

We offer free flu jabs through Simplyhealth to all employees and Hepatitis B jabs to caretakers and first aiders.

3. Soul Matters

Our flexible working approach ‘Your Work Your Way’ is about helping you be the best version of yourself, so you can get the best out of life, whilst also doing the best for our customers. Depending on your role, we’ll work with you to provide choice and flexibility in how, when, and where you work, as long as you’re meeting customer and business needs.

Most companies only allow one day a year for volunteering activities, but at RHP employees who work more than 18 hours a week can have up to two days.

29 days’ annual leave a year, on top of paid leave for eight bank holidays from 1 April to 31 March.

For the times when you have something special planned or need a little extra in your bank account, you can buy or sell up to five days' holiday.

In addition to annual leave, we give extra paid days off for special events in your life such as moving house, getting married, and becoming a grandparent.

We also know that people might have caring responsibilities at home and offer five paid Carer’s Leave days to help with this.

4. Money Matters

We match and double your 3% contribution, from 6% up to a maximum of 11.3%.

We’re a London Living Wage employer and ensure our salaries remain competitive.
