Inclusion

Connecting through difference

Diversity. Inclusion. They’re more than just words for us. - they’re part of our values. They’re part of being RHP.

It’s important to us that whether you’re a customer or an employee you feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who you are - regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes you unique.

Supported by our inclusion network (made up of representatives from across the organisation) we’ve implemented an action plan to become a more inclusive employer and service provider. The plan has three core goals:

  • Goal 1: Recruit, retain and advance a diverse organisation.
  • Goal 2: Develop and sustain and inclusive organisation.
  • Goal 3: Integrate diversity, equity and inclusion into our core purpose and services.

Diversity and inclusion are the foundation of our vision to be one of the best service providers in the UK and an excellent employer. We can only deliver on this by putting people at the heart of everything we do.

We can only be the best service provider if we know our customers: who they are and what their needs are. To be the best means designing services for our customers that anyone can access and find easy to use.

We can only be an excellent employer by creating the best environment for our people to be real and bring their authentic self to work. We want our employees to feel included, feel that their voice and opinion matters and feel that they can grow during their time with us.

We know through experience that different ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds create a stronger and more creative work environment that delivers better results. This fuels our innovation and connects us to our customers and the communities we serve.

It’s important to us that whether you’re a customer or an employee you feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who you are - regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes you unique.
