RHP wins Disruptive Business Model award

Published: 13/07/2020

We’re proud to share that we’ve been recognised on the national stage for our Disruptive Business Model in the form of a UK Business Award.

The award submission itself focused on how we’ve used digital solutions to increase efficiency and improve services, ultimately helping us to provide more homes for people who need them as well as improving existing homes.

Key outcomes from the business model include:

  • Achieving one of the lowest operating costs per home in the housing sector.
  • Improving both customer and employee satisfaction
  • Significant shift in customer’s using digital channels
  • Over 300 additional new homes built.

The UK Business Awards recognise the finest accomplishments from the world of British business. These Awards recognise the organisations, teams and individuals who are shaping the future of business. RHP became winners this year alongside other organisations including The AA, RBS and BT.

RHP’s Chief Executive, David Done, said: “It’s absolutely fantastic for us to be recognised in this way. I’m really proud of the impact our disruptive business model has had, enabling us to build more homes and improve our services. It feels even more special with our 20th birthday coming up later this month. We’ve come a long way since we started our journey back in 2000 – thanks to everyone past and present who’ve helped make RHP what it is today”

Now into the third year of our five-year strategy, over the next 12 months we’ll be focussing on: making our services even easier to use, launching a new home standard, keeping our customers and their homes safe and enabling greater flexibility for our employees through a personalised employee experience.
