Service with Respect

Thanks to the Institute of Customer Service's Service with Respect campaign, which we're proud to support, new legal protection now means tougher sentencing for those committing assaults against public workers. This change in the law is a key first step in reducing levels of hostility towards customer-facing employees.

Just as we commit to always treating our customers with respect, we ask for the same in return for our employees who are passionate about providing excellent service day in, and day out.  Our employees and contractors should feel safe and secure working in the local community, without suffering from other people’s abuse or anti-social activities.

Examples of inappropriate behaviour include:

  • threats or acts of violence, aggression, or bullying.
  • verbally abusing or harassing employees, partners, or contractors on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or for any other reason.
  • using animals to threaten, intimidate, or attack others.

We take all reports seriously: any form of aggression towards our employees will result in RHP taking action against you.

We know the vast majority of customers are extremely respectful, and we thank you for your support.
